Job Summary

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) — either an Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) — to join our healthcare team in Sylvania Ohio.

  • Schedule: 4 10-Hour shifts per week
  • Minimal weekend/holiday rotation
  • Inpatient based position with limited outpatient clinic coverage
  • Practice alongside 4 inpatient APPs and full administrative staff for support

In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across Pulmonary Critical Care services. Working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Requirements

  • Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
  • Acute Care Certification required for Nurse Practitioner candidates
  • Master’s degree for Physician Assistant applicants.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
  • Certificate of Authority to practice.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e. g., BLS, ACLS, PALS,

etc.).

Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
