Job Description
Contract Duration
This is a temporary contract position with an anticipated duration of 12 to 24 weeks, based on business needs and project requirements. The selected candidate will work closely with the clinical team to provide high-quality patient care and support ongoing health assessment initiatives throughout the contract period.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
* Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic medical records or other documentation systems.
* Advising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices
* Ensure quality of tests being performed
* Analyze and interpret test results i. e. pft, chest x-rays, abi’s, EKGs, etc…
* Refer patients for further diagnostic testing as needed
* Relay information between clinics and physicians as needed
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Completion of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
* Passing a national certification exam administered by organizations such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
* State licensure as an NP
* Adult and Geriatric patient population experience
* Excellent judgment and discretion, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines
* Detail oriented while maintaining a positive attitude
* Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess a wide range of medical conditions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
