Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner (Nursing Home)

Join Essen Medical Associates as a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner – Nursing Home in New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonology consults in nursing home and long-term care settings.

• Assess and manage respiratory conditions such as COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, and chronic respiratory failure.

• Conduct respiratory-focused evaluations and interpret pulmonary tests and imaging.

• Manage oxygen therapy, inhalers, nebulizer treatments, and other respiratory medications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (Hospital/outpatient office experience will also be considered).

• Active and unrestricted NP license
• DEA license required
• CPR certification (BCLS/BLS).

• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP applicants)
• Graduation from an accredited NP program.

• Preferred: Experience in Pulmonary (training available if not).

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $130K - $150K
