Make a Difference
The Office Assistant will be responsible for patient registration and updating information on the computer. This role performs basic billing functions such as posting charges, collecting, and posting payments. The Office Assistant verifies insurance benefits and obtains needed authorizations. The role will include scheduling patient appointments and resolve basic patient questions regarding accounts.
- Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- One (1) to two (2) years as a receptionist in a medical facility required
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High proficiency in spelling
- Ability to adapt to change
