Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Evaluate patients’ functional status and assess their home environments for potential hazards or barriers to independent living.
- Identify equipment needs and participate in developing the total plan of care.
- Develop individualized treatment programs, establish functional goals, and communicate plans of care to the referring physician and other healthcare professionals.
- Teach new skills or retrain patients in daily activities affected by illness or injury, following organizational policies.
Requirements
- Qualifications and Skills: Active and unencumbered California Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Valid California driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- Minimum of one (1+) year of relevant experience.
- Current CPR certification.
