The Speech Language Pathologist plans, organizes, and conducts speech therapy treatment programs while maintaining accurate patient care records. They also participate in departmental programs, clinical education, and assist with program development and enhancement.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree and a current Louisiana Speech Pathologist license or eligibility for one. Additionally, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence must be obtained within two years of hire.
