The psychiatrist will provide high-quality, team-based psychiatric care, including psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions, for individuals incarcerated in the NYC jail system. Responsibilities include conducting admission evaluations, participating in treatment team meetings, and providing clinical supervision to staff and trainees.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree and a valid New York State medical license. Applicants are required to have completed a 4-year US accredited psychiatric residency and possess at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness in an institutional setting.
