Key Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist administers therapeutic radiation treatments using sophisticated machinery while ensuring patient safety and accurate dose delivery. They also assist physicians with treatment planning, maintain detailed patient records, and provide functional guidance to staff.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program and hold a valid Rhode Island state license. Registration through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists is required, along with two to three years of relevant experience.
