The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an AP or AP/CP board-certified gastrointestinal pathologist at the rank of Associate Attending Pathologist. Fellowship training in Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology is required. Active experience or expertise in medical liver pathology sign-out is preferred. A strong interest in primary and collaborative translational research is expected; applicants interested in laboratory-based or computational research with a goal to establish competitive grant funding are also highly encouraged to apply.
Candidates will be expected to provide expert diagnostic services in Gastrointestinal and Hepatopancreatobiliary Pathology, engage in collaborative patient care and translational research with members of our world-class gastrointestinal disease management teams, and participate in our educational programs geared towards Oncologic Surgical Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, and Gastrointestinal Oncology trainees.
The position provides an opportunity to practice in a unique clinical and academic environment that emphasizes a multidisciplinary team approach, utilizing cutting-edge diagnostic modalities, including advanced molecular and digital pathology workflows, alongside state-of-the-art treatment paradigms.
Applicants must possess or be eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in both New York State and New Jersey.
Salary Range: $278,760 - $424,740
