Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide pathology coverage including reading pathology slides and issuing diagnostic reports.
- Oversee grossing and processing of specimens with assistance from histotech and PA.
- Perform weekday clinical duties Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
- Participate in weekend call coverage every other weekend, responding to beeper as needed.
- Ensure timely turnaround of pathology results to prevent delays.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pathology coverage, including reading slides and issuing diagnostic reports. Oversee the grossing and processing of specimens while ensuring timely turnaround of results.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified Pathologist with a valid license in Missouri or IMLC. Requires BLS certification and the ability to perform weekday clinical duties and weekend call coverage.
