Job Description
The Clinical Care Program is currently seeking a full-time, temporary (5 months) Social Worker 2 for the Psychosis Recovery and Treatment Unit 8 (PRT 8).
Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will be a member of an active inpatient unit working with people with severe and persistent mental illness. The Clinical Care Program is client centered and treatment is based on the principles of recovery for adults with major mental illness, predominantly Schizophrenia and Concurrent Disorders.

Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical social work services within an active inpatient unit for adults with severe and persistent mental illness, primarily schizophrenia and concurrent disorders. Work as part of an interprofessional team to implement recovery-based treatment and support clients and their families.
Requirements
Requires a Master of Social Work degree and registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Preferred experience includes 3 years of post-graduate work and inpatient mental health experience.
