The social worker provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments and support to patients and families coping with illness, trauma, and end-of-life care. They also coordinate discharge planning and act as a liaison for safety, custody, and community resource access.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work and possess or be eligible for a Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification. At least three years of postgraduate social work experience is required, with preference given to those with medical or pediatric experience.
