Vitreoretinal Surgeons | Coastal Virginia
Tidewater Eye Center and Virginia Eye Consultants have joined together, creating an expanded ophthalmology network across Coastal Virginia and an exciting landscape for continued growth.
As we expand our reach and ability to serve patients throughout the Hampton Roads and Williamsburg regions, we are seeking two BC/BE, fellowship-trained Vitreoretinal Surgeons to join our growing team:
- Portsmouth / South Hampton Roads – 1 Retina Surgeon
- Williamsburg – 1 Retina Surgeon
- Supported by our broader network, with Norfolk serving as a central hub

Key Responsibilities
The Vitreoretinal Surgeon will provide medical and surgical retina care to patients across the Hampton Roads and Williamsburg regions. They will also collaborate with a network of ophthalmologists and subspecialists to help grow and shape retina services.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and fellowship-trained in Vitreoretinal surgery. The role requires the ability to manage a broad mix of medical, surgical, and complex retinal diseases.
