Key Responsibilities
The CRNA is responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical and medical procedures while monitoring their vital signs. They also conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, manage airways, and provide post-anesthesia care in a collaborative clinical environment.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current RN license, CRNA certification, and a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Additionally, current ALS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required to perform clinical duties.
