Job Details: Job Location: FPDS Corporate - Irving, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: Up to 50%, Job Shift: Day, Associate Orthodontist – Full-Time Five Point Dental Specialists | North Dallas, Plano & Wylie, TX Five Point Dental Specialists (FPDS) is seeking a Full-Time Associate Orthodontist to join our established practices serving North Dallas, Plano, and Wylie, Texas.

We’re seeking a patient-focused doctor with a partnership mindset who values thoughtful treatment planning, excellent clinical outcomes, and lasting relationships with patients and families.

You’ll work alongside experienced orthodontic teams with an established patient base and the support and resources to focus on providing exceptional orthodontic care.

What You’ll Do Diagnose malocclusions and evaluate dental, facial, and skeletal development to create individualized treatment plans Provide comprehensive orthodontic care using fixed appliances, clear aligners, and other appropriate treatment modalities Manage early/interceptive, adolescent, and adult orthodontic treatment Manage cases from initial consultation through active treatment, finishing, debonding, and retention Monitor patient progress and make clinical adjustments to achieve optimal treatment outcomes Review radiographs, digital scans, photographs, and other diagnostic records to guide treatment decisions Coordinate interdisciplinary cases with other dental specialists when appropriate Educate patients and families on treatment recommendations, progress, oral hygiene, and retention Collaborate with clinical team members to provide an efficient, comfortable, and positive patient experience Maintain accurate clinical documentation and high standards for quality and patient safety Stay current with advancements in orthodontic techniques, technology, and treatment

Qualifications

DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Successful completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency program Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Active Texas dental license or eligibility to obtain licensure Strong foundation in orthodontic diagnosis, biomechanics, treatment planning, and case management Experience with fixed appliances and clear aligner therapy Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient care Experienced orthodontists and orthodontic residents completing their specialty training are encouraged to apply.
