Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to neonatal patients in the NICU
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures including intubation, central line placement, and lumbar puncture
- Manage ventilator support for neonates, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical care to neonatal patients in the NICU, including attending high-risk deliveries and performing neonatal resuscitation. Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilator support and perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine physician with a valid Mississippi license or IMLC. Completion of a fellowship and PALS certification are required.
