The physical therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient setting with a focus on sports and orthopedic conditions. They must document care in accordance with state, federal, and insurance guidelines while working within an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a valid NYS licensure to practice Physical Therapy and possess a degree from a CAPTE approved program, with a DPT preferred. Prior experience in an outpatient or orthopedic setting is highly desired.
