Job Description
McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, is seeking applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine for the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition to work at Memorial Hermann-Katy in the Greater Houston area.
Position Key Accountabilities
This faculty member will serve as a gastroenterologist with additional training in advanced endoscopy at Memorial Hermann - Katy. They will be responsible for the continuity of a high level of clinical quality and efficiency for our gastroenterology inpatient and outpatient service line, as well as focus on the development of an academic career through education of current fellows and active participation in research.
Qualifications
- MD/DO.
- Texas Medical license or be eligible for full medical licensure.
- Board-certified in gastroenterology.
- An additional year of training in advanced endoscopy.
Key Responsibilities
Provide gastroenterology care, including advanced endoscopy, at Memorial Hermann-Katy and maintain high-quality, efficient inpatient and outpatient services. Educate current fellows and actively participate in research as part of developing an academic career.
