Job Description
Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced Mental Health Therapist for Partnership Health in Hamilton, NJ. We are an outpatient office open only to the employees of the Hamilton Township and First Responders
Our patient-focused medical office is seeking clinical therapists with crisis management and trauma experience. This Partnership Health Center located in Hamilton, NJ is offering a full time position with 8-hour work days Monday through Friday;
This position requires an active LCSW or LPC license provided by the Office of NJ Consumer Affairs to perform therapy in the state of New Jersey.
Responsibilities Included But Are Not Limited To
Communicate effectively with patient, staff and physician/coordinate care according to the patient's needs.
Facilitate individual and/or group counseling services.
Provide and score assessment screening tools as indicated.
Evaluate and diagnose patients according to the DSM V and ASAM criteria.
Develop appropriate treatment goals with clients and work collaboratively to accomplish treatment goals.
Document the assessment of patient progress and interventions provided in the medical record (EMR) on an ongoing basis.
Recognize, respond to, and assist in psychiatric crisis situations and provide the intervention(s) necessary, including referral to other resources.
Counselor Requirements and Qualifications
Clinical experience as a self-directed/motivated mental health professional.
Possesses strong written and spoken communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and community resources.
A team player and collaborate with others under the direction of the Medical Director(s).
Excellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritize.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), as well as other software programs such as Electronic Medical Records is a plus.
Confidentiality
Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times with regard to protected health information, understanding and adhering to HIPAA Privacy and Security Policies and Procedures.
Education
A Master’s degree is required.
Experience
At least 3 years of clinical experience post-licensure, and familiarity with First Responder’s or trauma centered population is strongly desired.

Candidates must hold an active LCSW or LPC license in New Jersey and possess a Master's degree. At least 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience is required, with a preference for those familiar with first responder or trauma-centered populations.
