Psychiatric Technician | Full Time | 3rd Shift | Behavioral Health Unit

Join Hillsdale Hospital as a Psychiatric Technician – 3rd Shift, Full Time in United States. Work Schedule and Shift Premiums This is a 24/7 inpatient unit. Applicants must be flexible with their availability 36 to 40 hours per week | mostly 11pm to 7am with some 12-hour shifts starting earlier or ending later * 2nd shift premium is $2.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic patient care. Has 1

• 1 interaction with all assigned patients

• Runs groups and maintains accurate documentation

• Answers the door and phone on the Unit following Unit policies ensuring patient confidentiality

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate of an accredited institution

• Sixteen credit hours in the Human Services Field is desired

• Knowledge of the basic sciences underlying psychiatric care, psychology, sociology or social work is a plus

• Experience working in the mental health field is preferred. Must be able to establish therapeutic interactions with patients

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: Shift premiums: 3rd $3.05/hr, weekend $2.00/hr

Work Schedule
