Now Hiring a Lead Behavioral Health Technician for our Detox and Residential treatment facility, opening in Indianapolis, IN.

What You'll Do

  • Manage all daily residential operations (i. e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food
  • Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
  • Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
  • Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
  • Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
  • If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
  • Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Behavioral Health Technician manages daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, and medication administration. They are also responsible for training the BHT team and ensuring compliance with all facility policies and procedures.

Requirements

Candidates should possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, along with a warm and empathetic personality. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and those in recovery must have at least one year of sustained sobriety.
