Position Overview
The NP/PA will be responsible for evaluating patients, providing medical care, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as clinically appropriate
Prescribe medications and treatments within authorized scope of practice
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Current national certification, as applicable
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently within applicable California practice requirements
Previous experience preferred
Reliable transportation if travel to patient locations is required
