Adult Counselor

Join AACI as a Adult Counselor in San Jose, California. Job DetailsJob Location: 2400 Moorpark Avenue, Suite 300 - San Jose, CA 95128Salary Range: $73,000.00 - $121,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive, client-centered individual, group, and family counseling and rehabilitation services to adults and older adults.

• Facilitate referrals to community resources and performs case management services.

• Develop culturally relevant assessment and treatment plans.

• Complete all documentation per Medi-Cal, Santa Clara County and AACI standards within expected deadlines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work or psychology; or equivalent education, training, and experience.

• One year or more of direct clinical experience working with adults. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Knowledge of DSM-V criteria for diagnosing behavioral health illnesses.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed and evidenced-based practices (i. e., CBT, DBT, ACT).
