Part-time Psychiatrist (MD)

Key Responsibilities

The psychiatrist will manage the prescribing of psychotropic medications and oversee treatment plans for the mentally ill population at the jail. They are also responsible for conducting staff training, providing medical case supervision, and performing court-ordered evaluations.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed as an M.D. or D.O. with specialty training in psychiatry and be board certified or board eligible. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is required for this role.
