Psychiatric Technician - Inpatient Mental Health

Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Technician will conduct patient assessments, monitor progress, and assist in the delivery of therapeutic care within an inpatient mental health setting. They are responsible for maintaining a safe environment, implementing suicide prevention measures, and documenting patient interactions according to clinic policies.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed an accredited Psychiatric Technician program or possess equivalent military/civilian behavioral science training. A minimum of one year of full-time experience in a mental health setting within the last two years is required, along with current BLS certification.
