ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING(ADON), Albany Care, Evanston, IL
Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility in Evanston, IL, Seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). LPN/RN (RN Preferred). Experience in a Psych Facility required.

This is a Full Time Position with Salary of $80k-$90k, Depending upon Qualifications, Plus Full Benefits, including 401k and PTO, and Opportunity for Advancement!
The Schedule includes Variable Hours – the ADON will be On Call as Needed
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) collaborates with the Director of Nursing (DON)
regarding all nursing department tasks and duties, to ensure quality nursing services for those with mental illness.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):
Support nursing department for a large Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility
Support operations of nursing department including ordering supplies, communication with pharmacies and provider
- Schedule nursing staff
- Develop and maintain care plans
- Ensure nursing care needs of consumers are met
Requirements
of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):
- Must be either a LPN or RN, licensed in the State of Illinois
- Previous experience in a healthcare supervisory role
- Two-three years’ ADON experience in healthcare and/or mental health facility preferred
- Psychiatric nursing experience
- Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA IDPH
- BLS Certification
- Proficient with Microsoft suite
- Strong desire to help adults with primary psychiatric disorders work toward recovery
