Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.

• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.

• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs, X-rays, and EKGs.

• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, I&D, and other procedures as applicable.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Texas license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse.

• Practitioner.

• PA: NCCPA certification.

• NP: ANCC or AANP certification; FNP required.
