Outpatient Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The role involves providing coordinated and comprehensive patient care, including assessment, setting expected outcomes, and implementing rehabilitation interventions within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities also include evaluating patient needs, developing treatment programs to minimize disabilities, documenting treatments, submitting accurate charges, and overseeing COTAs, students, and volunteers.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications require current or temporary occupational therapist licensure in the applicable state (MD, OH, PA, or WV) and obtaining Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include one year of occupational therapist experience, and the role involves working with a pediatric and adult outpatient caseload.
