Key Responsibilities
The Utilization Management RN conducts medical necessity reviews to determine appropriate levels of care and length of stay. They also coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, high-quality patient transitions.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an accredited nursing degree and a valid Florida or Compact RN license. A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required, with preference given to those with utilization or case management experience.
