Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing

In this role, you will

* Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed

* Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs

* Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs

* Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records

* Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans

* Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources

* Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures

What Makes You a Great FIT

We’re looking for someone who

* Is a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing

* Has strong technical skills and proven leadership/management experience

* Brings a background in geriatric or long-term care nursing

* Embraces a restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills

* Has working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
