How You Make a Difference
This role provides a full range of medical services to patients while working under the supervision of the Site Medical Director and other site physicians. The position follows established policies, procedures, and state guidelines to deliver safe, effective care.
It includes maintaining accurate documentation so clinical services can be monitored appropriately. The role also involves communication about schedule coverage and helping arrange coverage when unavailable for extended periods. Overall, it supports consistent, well-coordinated medical care within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Examine patients, perform medical histories and physicals, determine diagnoses, and assess opioid dependence and substance use disorders.
Provide and manage medication-assisted treatment, including inductions, ongoing medication review, titration, and monthly follow-up appointments.
Document care accurately and completely, prepare reports, review records, and maintain confidentiality and patient privacy.
Collaborate with the treatment team, support and train medical staff, attend meetings, and participate in required committees.
Respond to urgent and emergency situations, follow formulary and treatment policies, apply standard precautions, and comply with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or an accredited education program for Physician Assistant
- Advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Experience
2 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Licenses/Certifications
Must have and maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within the state of employment
Must Have and Maintain Current CPR Certification
- Must have or be willing to obtain DATA 2000 Waiver prior to employment.
- This position is available only to those who reside in the United States.

Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and possess at least two years of relevant experience. A current state license, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain a DATA 2000 Waiver are required.
