The Speech Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in adult patients within their homes. They also provide aural rehabilitation and implement augmentative and alternative communication systems as needed.
Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered state license to practice speech pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). A current CPR certification is required, and at least one year of experience is preferred.
