UC Health is hiring a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for The Inpatient Pharmacy Department at the University of Cincinnati’s Medical Center. We are offering a $20,000 sign-on Bonus

Clinical staff pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies, provide drug information, and supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a clinical staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.

Key Responsibilities

The clinical staff pharmacist is responsible for filling medication orders, monitoring patient therapies, and providing drug information. They also supervise support personnel and may assume the duties of the pharmacy manager when necessary.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a B.S. in pharmacy, with a PharmD preferred, and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio. At least six months of hospital pharmacy experience or internship is preferred, and completion of a PGY1 residency is highly valued.
