About the Role
Join United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) as a PRN Pharmacist – Per Diem, Hospital Setting in United States. Community Hospital is hiring a PRN Pharmacist! Key Responsibilities
- Interprets medication orders (verbal and written) and transcribes to computerized patient medication profiles accurately. Maintains accurate, complete patient medication profiles.
- Monitors medication therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies and appropriateness of medication and dose.
- Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Supervises and directs daily activities of pharmacy technicians.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy required.
- Certificate as a preceptor by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy after one year of licensure preferred.
- Education: Undergraduate pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science) or Pharm. D preferred.
- One (1) year experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.
Work Schedule
- Per Diem position.
