Job Description

General Practice Care - Partner Veterinarian - Midlothian, VA

An exceptional veterinary hospital, with a dedicated team, is seeking an experienced Partner Veterinarian to provide leadership, superior patient and client care, and financial ownership in the hospital. The ideal leader for this hospital is a veterinarian who is prepared to manage a team of doctors and medical staff and successfully oversee the clinical direction of the practice while building equity.

This hospital is open to considering experienced veterinarians who are looking for ownership, equity, or profit-sharing opportunities in the hospital.

Credentials & Qualifications That Are Required

  • Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree (VMD) from an AVMA accredited college or university.
  • Active state license in good standing, or currently pursuing licensure.
  • Current DEA license in good standing, or willing to obtain.
  • A commitment to veterinary excellence and upholding the Principles of Veterinary Medical Ethics.
  • Proven leadership experience and a strong desire for hospital ownership/equity.

Key Responsibilities

The Partner Veterinarian will provide leadership, oversee clinical direction, and manage medical staff at the hospital. They are also responsible for maintaining high standards of patient and client care while pursuing financial ownership or equity.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an AVMA accredited institution and possess an active state license. Proven leadership experience and a strong commitment to veterinary ethics and hospital ownership are required.
