Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional endoscopic procedures: EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, liver biopsy, PEG tube placement, hemorrhoid banding.

Manage disorders of the GI tract, including esophagus, stomach, small/large intestine, liver, pancreas.

Provide care for acute and chronic conditions: GERD, IBS, IBD, celiac disease, peptic ulcer, H. pylori, Barrett’s esophagus, & esophageal motility issues.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including GI nurses and anesthesiologists, for optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

MD or DO, board

certified/eligible in Gastroenterology.

ERCP/EUS skills required.

Texas medical license (or eligibility). Work Setting
