Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: QUICKmed Wadsworth - Wadsworth, OH 44281Quickmed's Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing radiologic exams in accordance with established procedures to ensure patient care and safety. This role includes duties related to proper film identification, storage, reporting, and registration.

Responsibilities

Perform radiologic exams as per established procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality of care. Ensure proper film identification, labeling, and storage in accordance with departmental standards. Accurately report and document exam results as required. Perform patient registration duties, including verifying patient information and preparing records. Maintain and operate radiologic equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Provide clear instructions to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding during procedures. Follow all safety protocols, including radiation protection standards, to minimize exposure to patients and staff. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the radiology department. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure the timely delivery of accurate diagnostic images.

Requirements

Requires ARRT Certification, an Ohio Radiologic License, and 1-2 years of experience in a clinic or physician practice. Must be a graduate of an accredited training facility for Registered/Certified Medical Assistants.
