Skeet Club Veterinary Hospital is seeking relief veterinarians to support our small animal team in High Point. We welcome doctors who enjoy general practice, communicate well with clients and staff, and stay calm when a same-day case needs attention.

The Relief Role

We can discuss routine surgical coverage based on your experience and the needs of a particular shift. Advanced procedures are handled by a visiting specialist or referred when appropriate.

Our approximate support staff to doctor ratio is 2:1. Skeet Club has digital radiography and dental radiography, ultrasound, an in-house IDEXX laboratory, and an endoscope. You will work with an experienced team that values clear communication, sound medical judgment, and respectful collaboration.

Scheduling

Appointments begin at 8:30 a. m. each day.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: Last appointment at 4:30 p. m.; doctors generally finish by 5:30 p. m.

Wednesday: Last appointment at 1:30 p. m.; doctors generally finish by 2:00 p. m.

Full-day shifts: A one-hour unpaid lunch from noon to 1:00 p. m., with the option of arranging a two-hour break, if requested.

There is no on-call duty or overnight hospitalization.
