Job Description
Summary of Position
Provides onsite observation, training, and community groups. Responsible for drawing upon their experience in the field to educate and train new employees.
Days & Hours
- Saturday and Sunday
- 7:00pm to 7:00am (Night Shift)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote the mission, values and vision of Centerstone.
- Provides assistance and supervision to clients in their activities of daily living.
- Document changes in clients’ social behaviors.
- Recognize deviations in clients’ mental or physical state and take appropriate action to ensure client and employee safety.
- Maintain structure and consistency with the clients through the patient/client stay.
- Develop a professional relationship with the clients in order to gain their cooperation and respect.
- Document client behaviors.
Maintain Professional and Ethical Code of Behavior
- Serve as role model to lower-level peers by demonstrate problem solving skills and teaching clients coping skills.
- Provide structure and guidance to clients in positive ways.
- Trains newly hired Behavioral Technicians.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
Qualifications
- Education Level
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
Years of Experience
One years' experience in mental health/addictions facility required.
Certification/Licensure
Valid Florida Driver's License with a safe driving record and current auto insurance.
