Job Requirements
- Board: BC in CV Surgery
- Active AR license or IMLC
- Certification: ACLS
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide on-call coverage for cardiovascular surgical patients, including urgent, emergent, and outpatient cases.
- Manage and treat surgical patients in the hospital setting, including rounding and admissions.
- See patients in clinic for follow-up and consultations as needed (up to 10 hours per week).
- Collaborate with other surgeons and hospital staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to call backs within 20 minutes and provide timely surgical interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-call cardiovascular surgical coverage for urgent, emergent, and outpatient cases. Manage patient care through hospital rounding, admissions, and clinic consultations.
Requirements
Must be Board Certified in Cardiovascular Surgery with an active Arkansas license or IMLC. Requires ACLS certification and the ability to respond to on-call requests within 20 minutes.
