As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll hone your skills and specialize in areas like Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health while working alongside a multidisciplinary team of Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Clinical Counselors, and ABA professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Assess clients for adaptations and special equipment while implementing therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor, cognitive, and self-care skills. Provide support and guidance to families to help them foster behaviors and practices implemented during treatment.

Requirements

Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Candidates must hold or be eligible for an Illinois state OT license and pass the NBCOT certification.
