Job Description

We are looking for licensed, board-certified physicians (MD or DO) to serve as Medical Directors and Collaborating Physicians. Must hold an active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license and current board certification in a specialty appropriate to the assigned services.

Grace Community Care & Homes seeks a part-time Medical Director to support planned New Jersey outpatient mental-health and substance-use treatment services, with potential expansion into intensive outpatient and residential addiction treatment. Programs are in development, and services begin only after required approvals.

This remote position initially focuses on clinical planning, licensing documentation and policy development. Ongoing responsibilities include medical leadership, chart review, virtual case conferences, consultation with treating clinicians and quality improvement. Any program-specific on-site responsibilities will be disclosed and agreed before assignment.

Responsibilities include reviewing proposed services and patient ages; developing admission criteria, clinical policies, medication protocols and emergency/referral procedures; supporting clinical recruitment; supplying credentials for medical-director designation and payer enrollment; establishing appropriate supervision or collaboration arrangements; and maintaining agreed clinical availability.

Patient appointments and prescribing are included only if separately agreed. Additional programs or locations require a defined scope, coverage plan and compensation.

Submit your CV, New Jersey credentials, board certifications, relevant program experience, patient age groups served, availability, current clinical leadership commitments and proposed startup and monthly fees. Grace Community Care & Homes is an equal opportunity employer.
