Title: Radiation Therapist II Department: Oncology Radiation Site: Bayfront Hospital Location: St. Petersburg, FL Position Type: Pool / PRN Shift: First / Day Radiation therapists treat cancer and other diseases in patients by administering radiation treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implements the patients planned course of treatment as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologists.

• Explicitly follows the predetermined treatment parameters as set forth during patient simulation and treatment planning.

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with all areas in Radiation Oncology in scheduling, planning, evaluation and implementing all aspects of the patients planned course of treatment.

• Interacts with all departments within, and from outside to coordinate a multidisciplinary continuity of care.

Requirements

• The Radiation Therapist II must participate in weekend call rotation as needed.

• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Work Schedule

• Per Diem position.

• Call responsibilities required.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
