SCAH-Sutter Care at Home - Bay

Position Overview

$10,000 sign-on bonus available to external candidates - in accordance with Sutter Health policy + excellent benefits!

Role will cover Alameda County.

The Speech Therapist develops and implements a plan for providing rehabilitation home therapeutic treatment as well as education of patients, family members and significant others to home health and hospice patients. This position also coordinates with other home health staff to provide an efficient integration of care.

Job Description

Education

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Master's in speech pathology from an educational institution accredited by the Education and Training Board of American Speech Language Hearing Association

Certification & Licensure

  • ST-Speech Therapy for the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance
  • DL-Valid Drivers License Class C or B
  • AUTO-Automobile Insurance
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in speech pathology and possess a valid California license. At least two years of recent relevant experience is required along with a valid driver's license and BLS certification.
