School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) | Redmond, WA | Part-Time (.4 FTE) | 2026–2027 School Year
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Redmond, Washington for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Highlights
- Location: Redmond, WA
- Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Schedule: Part-Time (.4 FTE), up to 15 hours per week
- School Year: August 24, 2026 – June 17, 2027
- Setting: In-person, school-based
- Hours: Up to 7.5 hours per day, 2 days per week, based on the district calendar
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to determine students' educational needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in educational settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
- Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, self-care, and functional skills that promote educational success
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license
- Active Washington ESA Certification
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide in-person services at multiple school locations
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
