Key Responsibilities
Responsible for interpreting, verifying, and dispensing medications while monitoring patient therapy and providing pharmaceutical care. Duties include medication reconciliation, pharmacokinetic monitoring, and precepting pharmacy students and residents.
Requirements
Requires a degree from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and a valid Registered Pharmacist license in the state of employment. A hospital residency or three years of hospital experience is preferred.
