Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Optometrist to join our eye care team in Upland, CA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including medical eye examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular diseases, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and ocular health.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and infections.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments as appropriate.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers for patient referrals and co-management.
• Educate patients on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay current with advancements in optometry and ocular disease management.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid California Optometry license.
• Experience in medical optometry and ocular disease management preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in our Upland, CA office, equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technology. The role involves direct patient care in a clinical setting.
