Job Description
Autism Services of Kansas is comprised of individuals who are passionate about working together to improve the lives of the children and families they serve by using evidence-based interventions, founded on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team to serve individuals ages 18 months to school age within the home and community based setting in the Lawrence and Topeka area. Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Kansas Licensure or willing to obtain
- Experience in home-based and community settings are highly preferred
- Strong understanding of autism and evidence-based interventions
- Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans
- Excellent skills in modeling and coaching staff on strategies and best practices
- Proficient in data collection, interpretation, and adjusting plans based on outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients needs conduct functional behavior assessment and design effective, individualized behavior support plans
- Provide direct supervision and coaching to families to promote plan fidelity in person
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Collect, summarize, and analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing progress
- Write progress reports and Treatment Plans as scheduled
- Conduct appropriate assessments every 6 months unless otherwise directed by the Clinical Director
