Job Description
Description. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care in a rapidly evolving medical practice environment.
As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to women, managing a range of reproductive health issues, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. You'll be part of a supportive team that prioritizes patient-centered care and innovative treatment approaches.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care.
- Conduct regular check-ups and screenings for patients.
- Offer prenatal and postnatal care to expecting mothers.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of conditions affecting women's health.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver integrated care.
- Participate in health education and outreach programs.
- Stay updated with the latest medical practices and procedures.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in women's health.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and community health.
- Current state medical license and DEA registration.
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
Will provide call coverage for multiple facilities
Level I Nursery
Annual Deliveries: ~450
Daily Volume: 2 patients
Anesthesia and pediatric hospitalists available 24/7
EMR: Epic
Must be board certified
Paid travel & expenses
Above-market pay rates
