Position Overview

The Aesthetic Injector plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional aesthetic outcomes while providing compassionate care to clients. This position involves administering various non-surgical aesthetic procedures, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Aesthetic Injector combines clinical expertise with artistic sensibility to achieve optimal results for clients seeking aesthetic enhancements.

Key Responsibilities or (Core Contributions)

Direct Patient Care:

• Provide direct patient care (under the supervision of the physician if necessary), adhering to authorized practice guidelines and state laws.

• Conduct new patient intakes, reviewing medical history, discussing aesthetic concerns, and establishing personalized treatment plans.

• Perform medical aesthetic procedures as outlined in the patient's treatment plan and orders, including but not limited to injection therapy.

• Maintain detailed medical records documenting treatment procedures, medication history, and distributed educational materials.

Client Consultation and Treatment:

• Conduct consultations with clients to understand their aesthetic goals and recommend appropriate treatments.

• Administer a variety of non-surgical aesthetic procedures, including (but not limited to) injectables, facials, laser treatments, and non-invasive body services.

• Ensure a comfortable and safe experience for clients throughout the treatment process, addressing any concerns or questions.

• Potential for wellness based services such as medical weight loss and hormone replacement treatments.

Marketing and Social Media Assistance:

• Support Empower Aesthetics and the practice in generating new clients.

• Assist with internal and external marketing support for the practice, including but not limited to, business to business outreach.

• Uphold and abide by the social media standards set by the practice and the Empower Aesthetics Social Media Policy as outlined in the Team Member Handbook.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and post-procedure care instructions.

• Uphold the highest standards of infection control, universal precautions, and safety protocols within the treatment area.

• Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with regulations.

• Abide by HIPAA policies and remain up to date on compliance trainings.

• Hold an active license as required by the role and maintain the license through completing the necessary continuing education requirements associated with the license.

Professional Development and Collaboration:

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, products, and techniques related to injectables and aesthetics.

• Collect video and photos for social media content and abide by a regular posting schedule to promote the practice and its marketing specials.

• Collaborate with team members, nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive and integrated client care.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and maintain licensure.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as Nurse Practitioner (NP) is required

• Prior training and experience with Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers, consultations and GFE's.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent understanding of dermatology and skincare treatment preferred.

• Exceptional communication skills with clients and team members.

• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.

• Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Empathetic approach towards patient needs and concerns.

Working Conditions (Includes Physical Demands)

• Prolonged periods in a stationary position; must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.

• The person in this position occasionally needs to move about inside the office to access equipment, etc.

• Uses hands/fingers to operate computers and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

• May need to stoop and kneel to access files, or other equipment.

• The person in this position needs to be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

• The person in this position may need to move, transport, position or lift boxes weighing up to twenty pounds across the office for various needs.
